Mulled Cider

Mulled cider
The smell alone will make you want to try this delicious warm-yourself-from-the-inside-out choice…
 
What You Need
4 cups apple cider or apple juice
¼ cup brown sugar
1 tsp whole cloves
1 tsp whole allspice
3-4 cinnamon sticks
 
What You Do
1.Combine all the ingredients and simmer for one hour.
2. Strain and continue to simmer until ready to serve.
 
Sweet Advice:
 *The use of whole spices rather than ground will prevent cloudiness. For convenience try using a crock-pot or slow cooker on low to medium heat.
**To give as a gift, allow cider to cool and pour into a glass container or Mason jar. Print out the recipe, mat onto cardstock and then create a tag by adding ribbon making it easy to attach it to the container.
